Grand Performances’ first Feature Presentation in the Heritage Square Series will premiere this Sunday September 13th at 11:11am PT, featuring a vibrational healing sound bath with Grace Oh.

Grace Oh’s synthesis of sacred sounds incorporates Frosted Crystal Bowls, Symphonic Gong, Planetary Tuning Forks, Tingsha, Cacho Seed Shaker, Elemental Koshi Chimes and Vocal Tones.

The second installment of GP’s Heritage Square Series will feature multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, composer and producer Low Leaf, premiering next Sunday September 20th at 11:11am PT.

Rooted in classical piano since early childhood, Low Leaf combines an array of genres by playing the harp, piano, guitar, singing, and making beats.

Grand Performances’ Heritage Square Series of Feature Presentations will conclude on Sunday September 27th with Voices of Creation.

Founded by Jimetta Rose, Voices of Creation is a 13-member soul/jazz choir dedicated to healing themselves and others through music.

Tonight, Grand Performances welcomes Joelii and Jenn Morel for our next Artist TAKEOVER! The Dominican sibling duo will bring a high-energy fusion of dembow, hip-hop and electronic music to GP’s Facebook and Instagram Live.

Joelii is a songwriter based in Los Angeles who has toured across the globe and collaborated with Major Lazer, GTA, Sak Noel, Jonn Hart, Gianluca Vacchi, and Happy Colors.

Jenn Morel is a Dominican rapper, actress, dancer, and social media star. She has worked with artists including LMFAO, Ne-Yo, Drake, Nicki Minaj, and Trey Songz. She now boasts 500,000 social media followers, 37 million views on YouTube and over 11 million streams on Spotify.

Wednesday, September 16: Julio y su Teclado Mágico
Julio is a multi-instrumentalist Mexican-American musician from Los Angeles. Blind since birth, Julio has earned international infamy for his viral videos demonstrating his unbelievably fast (but precise!) percussive keyboard style.

For his one-man band live performances, Julio brings together a unique blend of styles ranging from Cumbia, Norteño, Reggae, Soul, and R&B.

Wednesday, September 23: Taller Bula
Taller Bula is a Southern California based Puerto Rican Bomba workshop. Bomba was born in Africa of Congolese roots and was developed and organized in Puerto Rico. Thousands of miles away from its roots, bomba is alive and thriving in Southern California.
